3rd Grade News
May 24, 2010
Thank you Paul for sharing about your interests in life last week. Please continue to keep our third grade class and their families in your prayers.
I strongly encourage all the children to continue to read throughout the remaining school year. Summer time is also a great time to read some great books with your child. Thank you for listening to your child read this past year. They enjoy any time that they get to spend with their parents. They are doing an excellent job in their oral reading. There are two reading sheets that were sent home today to encourage summer reading.
A permission slip went home last Friday for our end of the year class picnic. We will be going to GallopPark to go paddle boating, fishing, hiking, and playing games. I will have four fishing poles and worms available for them to use, so they will not have to bring their own.
Our third grade class is in need of two volunteers yet to man our booth at the school Carnival on June 4th. Thank you Susan Sansone for signing up earlier this month from 5-6 p.m. We have the time slots of 6-7 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. still open. Please let me know if you are able to help out on this fun evening at school.
God bless you and your family with love and laughter throughout the week.
In Christ,
Lori Lewis
