Family Based Confirmation:

Throughout the confirmation process 7th and 8th grade students will work closely with parents through the “Family Based Confirmation Curriculum”. Parents and students will be asked to sit down on average of once a week and work through a 30-minute lesson together. Students and parents will complete a total of 20 lessons over the course of each year studying Lutheran Doctrine and Scriptural lessons.

“My son commented this morning (without prompting from me) that one reason he enjoyed confirmation study is he learned more about me through the discussions. I am pleased with the family closeness and the chance to draw closer to Jesus. I am also more in tune to my son’s spiritual growth this way. Without this study, I would have less of an awareness of where he is and what I can work on with him. ”

Men’s Ministry

"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love." I Cor. 16:13

We seek to engage in a variety of activities developed with the hope of bringing a diverse group of men into a closer relationship with God and with one another.

Women's Ministry

We endeavor to reach women through a variety of experiences, focusing on a wholistic approach to ministry.

Older Adult Ministry - (Second 50'S)

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through me your days will be many, and years will be added to your life." Proverbs 9:10-11

We initiate Christ centered ministry with our older adults and their friends.

Small Group Ministry (Christ Care Groups)

"And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity...Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God." Colossians 3: 12,14,15-17

We develop small groups where we model "Jesus Christ", build Christian community, renew the church, and encourage spiritual – "faith" growth.
